Carolina Film Studio Summer Camp 2024

Carolina Film Studio is proud to announce our summer camp for kids ages 12-17. This two-day, 4-hour-long camp is the perfect opportunity for your child to learn the basics of photography, videography, and podcasting. At just $100 per kid, this camp is an affordable way to introduce your child to the world of content creation.

Day 1 - Schedule

The day will be split into three sessions. The first session will focus on photography. In this session, your child will learn how to set up shots, adjust lighting, and take great pictures. The second session will focus on videography. Your child will learn how to create engaging videos using a variety of techniques, including camera movement and shot framing. The third and final session will focus on podcasting. In this session, your child will learn how to plan and record a great podcast. Throughout the day, your child's skills will be tested with fun challenges and exercises that will help them put their skills into practice.

Day 2 - Schedule

The day will be split into two sessions. The first session will focus on compiling and editing content. The second and final session will concentrate on producing a finished video using the skills learned on day one that incorporates video, photos, and audio.

Instructors

Our instructors are all experienced filmmakers who are passionate about teaching the next generation of artists. They are all skilled in photography, videography, and podcasting, and can give your child the basic hands-on experience necessary to set them on a path to creating content for themselves or others.
